Old <===> New

Even though the houses go back to the 19th century, we need to remember that the basic structure may persist, but the culture, people and times changed so much. We can look at the old photos to imagine what it must have been like to live then.

As with all of the 19th century houses in Talcottville, the interior has been modernized, a garage added, and other improvements made, but it is remarkable how much is the same (even the shutters).
