Valley Falls Farm Heritage Center Committee Information

The information on this page is for the private use of the Friends of Valley Falls (FOVF) Farm Heritage Center Committee. The Committee began meeting September 2015 to develop a Heritage Center in the Stable that will focus on Valley Falls Farm and Park during its Gentleman's Farm period from about 1870 to 1950, but will also include information on the Valley Falls Cotton Mill, Sharp's Trout Farm and the Valley Falls Historical District.

Historical & Archeology Studies

Valley Falls Historical District Narrative. The Vernon Historical Society prepared the documents to submit an application for establishing Valley Falls as an historical district. This is the narrative describing the area and its history.

Valley Falls Historical District Resources Inventory. Vernon Historical Society Forms for the 17 sites intended for the Valley Falls Historical District.

Sharps Trout Hatchery Site National Register of Historic Places Registration Form. This document includes a narrative description and history of the site. Submitted August 1996.

Valley Falls Cotton Mill Site National Register of Historic Places Registration Form. This document includes a narrative description and history of the site.
